Yes. Submitting a request through MatchLocal is free. The underlying inspection, repair, or replacement work is priced by the local specialist you are matched with, and they share that pricing with you up front.
What services can I request?
You can request inspection, repair, replacement, or a mix of those. Many households need an inspection first and then decide on repair or replacement with the same specialist.
Are specialists licensed?
We work with pre-vetted local specialists. Licensing and insurance requirements vary by trade and by state; the specialist who contacts you can confirm the credentials that apply to your job.
Where do you operate?
The network covers cities across all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. Choose your state and the closest service-area city so we can match someone nearby.
How soon will someone reach out?
A matched specialist reaches out as soon as they can. Marking a request as immediate or within 24 hours helps them prioritise time-sensitive jobs. We do not guarantee a specific window.
Do you do the work yourselves?
No. MatchLocal is a matcher, not a contractor. We introduce you to a trusted local specialist; they handle the visit, the quote, and the work.
